REDIE TERMS OF USE

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the Redie mobile application and related services operated by Semih Altın ("Redie", "we", "us", or "our"). You can contact us at semihaltin99@gmail.com or +90 553 762 30 98. By using Redie, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.

1. Eligibility and app profile

Redie is intended for people aged 18 or older. By using it, you confirm that you are at least 18 and are legally able to agree to these Terms. Redie does not require a name-and-password login. The service creates an installation-based profile so scans, history, settings, and Premium status can be associated with your use of the app. Keep your device and local session credentials secure. Reinstalling the app, resetting the device, or losing those credentials may make an old profile and its scan history inaccessible. Store purchases may be restorable through the applicable store where supported.

2. What the service provides

You may choose a product category and submit a photo of a product label. Redie uses AI to summarize visible ingredients and their possible purposes and, where the image supports it, provide an approximate label-based score. The app may also display articles, frequently asked questions, and notifications.

Redie is an information aid, not a product certification, laboratory test, medical service, or professional opinion. An AI result may be wrong, incomplete, outdated, or affected by image quality, translation, or packaging changes. A description of "naturalness" or a numerical score does not establish that a product is safe, healthy, suitable for you, or legally compliant. Verify ingredients and claims on the current packaging and with the manufacturer. For allergies, medical conditions, pregnancy, infant use, chemical exposure, or other health and safety concerns, seek advice from a qualified professional. Do not use Redie for emergencies.

If a label is too unclear to identify an ingredient, Redie may ask for a new photo. An unsuccessful unreadable scan does not use the free daily allowance.

3. Free use and Premium

A free profile receives one successfully completed scan per UTC calendar day. The allowance resets at 00:00 UTC. Premium removes that daily scan cap while a valid Premium entitlement is active. Reasonable technical request limits and measures against automated abuse still apply. Articles marked Premium are accessible only while the relevant entitlement is active.

We may update features and limits for future use, subject to applicable law and any notice or remedy required for paid services. If a temporary outage prevents a scan, access may resume when the service is available; an unsuccessful scan does not count as a completed scan.

4. Subscriptions, billing, cancellation, and refunds

Premium subscriptions are offered through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The store purchase screen shows the price, currency, billing period, and any trial or introductory terms before you confirm a purchase. Unless the purchase screen states otherwise, a subscription renews automatically and the store charges your payment method for each new billing period until you cancel under that store's rules. Taxes may apply as shown by the store. We use RevenueCat and store information to check whether Premium access is active.

You must cancel through the Apple or Google account used for the purchase. Deleting your Redie app profile or uninstalling the app does not cancel an active subscription or stop future store charges. After cancellation, Premium access usually continues until the end of the paid period, subject to the store's terms. If a purchase is refunded, revoked, expires, or cannot be verified, Premium access may end. The store handles billing and refund requests under its policies, without limiting any mandatory rights you have under applicable law. If a valid purchase is not recognized, try the app's restore-purchases option or contact us.

5. Your photos and our content

You retain any rights you have in a photo you submit. You permit us and the service providers needed to deliver a scan to receive, transmit, and process that photo for the requested analysis and associated service operations. You are responsible for having the right to submit it. Avoid including another person's private information or unrelated sensitive material.

Redie's software, articles, design, names, logos, and other service content belong to us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use the app and view its content while you comply with these Terms. This does not transfer ownership. You may not republish substantial Redie content without permission, except where law allows it.

6. Acceptable use

Use Redie lawfully and for its intended purposes. Do not submit material that violates another person's rights, attempt to bypass scan or subscription limits, use bots or other automated methods to overload the service, interfere with security, introduce malicious code, or present an AI-generated result as a verified safety certification. We may limit or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security incidents, legal obligations, or a serious violation of these Terms.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, analysis of every image, or error-free content. We may change, suspend, or discontinue a feature for technical, security, legal, or business reasons. Where applicable law requires notice, continued paid access, a refund, or another remedy, we will honor that requirement.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Redie is provided without a guarantee that its analyses or content will be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for a particular purpose. You remain responsible for checking product information before a purchase or a health or safety decision. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of Redie. Nothing in these Terms removes statutory consumer rights or excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for intentional misconduct where such an exclusion is prohibited.

9. Profile deletion and ending use

You may delete your Redie profile in the app's settings. This removes associated records from Redie's active database as described in the Privacy Policy and ends access through the deleted session. If you continue using the app, a new profile may be created. Deleting the profile does not cancel a store subscription; see Section 4. We may end or restrict service access in the circumstances described in Section 6 or when legally required.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service or legal requirements change. The current version will display its effective date. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent when applicable law requires it. If you do not agree to revised Terms, stop using Redie and cancel any active store subscription separately.

11. Disputes and applicable law

These Terms are interpreted under the law applicable to the service and your use of it. Any dispute will be heard by a court or authority with jurisdiction under applicable law. Mandatory consumer protections and rights available where you live are not limited by these Terms. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern directly.
